DMAA / DMHA stimulant adulterants

What this is

FDA April 2026 Addall alert found undeclared 1,4-DMAA in Addall XR Shot and Addall XL, and DMHA in Addall XL. These are exactly the supplement-adulteration risks readers encounter in gas-station focus pills, pre-workouts, and gray-market nootropics: the label may not disclose the active stimulant. Treat as a toxin/adulterant rather than a legitimate nootropic entry.

Mechanism

Sympathomimetic stimulant adulterants added to focus, pre-workout, and weight-loss supplements; raise catecholamine tone, blood pressure, and cardiac workload.

Dose & route

Avoid products listing or hiding DMAA, DMHA, 1,4-DMAA, 2-amino-6-methylheptane, geranium extract, or similar stimulant aliases
